Guided Painting with Kate Landlais
Date: Mondays, Sept. 16th – Oct 21st
Time: 10:00am – 11:30am
Location: Activity Room
Cost: $12.00 per week
Due to the success of the summer painting class, Artist Kate Langlais, has agreed to offer another 6-week Guided Painting on Canvas class. The class will take place on Mondays from 10:00am – 11:30am beginning September 16th. If you feel you are not talented enough to paint, this is a guided painting class. Kate will give direction on how to complete techniques step by step that you can choose to use or you can implement your own techniques and ideas. This class is 30 minutes longer than the summer class to offer more time to complete your paintings if needed. You can take all six classes or pick and choose the weeks you would like to attend. Fall Craft 2024

Cost: $6.00 & $4.00 for each additional pumpkin
Do you need a new Fall centerpiece or decor? Come on over to Buckham West on Tuesday, October 8th at 1:00pm to make absolutely charming Fall pumpkins that can be used alone or as part of a centerpiece. You can make different colors and sizes. Danielle Cross will guide this Fall Craft Class and help you create these appealing gourds that will have your friends asking where they can get them! Stop down at Buckham West or check out our website to see an example. Cost is $6 for one pumpkin and $4 for any additional pumpkins. Mah jongg

Mah jongg – is a game of strategy that originated in China. It uses small rectangular tiles stamped with symbols and characters. The object of the game is to be the first to assemble combinations of these tiles into specific patterns that make up a hand. These combinations are assembled by picking and discarding tiles. Once you learn the fundamentals of the game, you will understand why people love it.
